NFL teams are using a new user-experience specialist, who will work with teams on how they will handle issues like race, religion, disability, gender identity and sexuality.
In the case of the Raiders, the specialist will help them identify which team-specific practices, meetings, social events and other events are best suited for users of their community.
The Oakland Raiders have hired the veteran user- experience specialist for their team.
They will have a voice in the team’s social media accounts, the team said in a statement.
“The Raiders are taking an innovative approach to the user experience in an effort to empower our fans and employees, while helping us build a more fun and inclusive environment for everyone in the Raiders organization,” said Raiders CEO Kevin Gilbride in the statement.
“The specialist will provide feedback on the team team-wide user experience to assist in the development of new and enhanced social media offerings.”
The Raiders have been using social media platforms to communicate with fans since the team moved to Las Vegas in 2016.
Before the move to Las, the Raiders had not responded to many social media posts from their fans and their players.
According to the team, its user- experiences specialist will be a part of the team for the next three years.
